The staff at Sligo School project have engaged in systematic school self-evaluation from 2012 to 2016. This was done as a collaborative, reflective process of internal school review, which focused on school improvement. During this period staff developed and implemented improvement plans for literacy, numeracy, and Irish. During the process there was an emphasis on reflective inquiry leading to action planning for improvement that was informed by evidence gathered within our school’s unique context.
Each year since 2012 a self-evaluation report and self-evaluation plan has been written by the staff. A summary of the reports and improvement plans are available to the school community.
